Why are we trying to change those that we love. We love the people in our lives exactly the way they are. Who they are is why we fell in love with them to begin with. Every time we argue or fight though, we are trying to change something about them. It doesn’t matter if you’re trying to change their mind about something or change something about them. Don’t change what you love about someone. You loved them just the way they are.
If we don’t adapt to the constant change all around us, we will get left behind while everyone else surges ahead. Look around you. Cars without drivers. Self checkout at market. Online technology. New gadgets, products, and apps. There’s an app for that. Automation of almost anything electronic. Products that change and improve our lives. Some people are against technology and change because their jobs are being faded out. But at the same time, that very technology has created a whole slew of new jobs and opportunities if you will just learn to adapt and learn something new and amazing. Change is good my friends. Be willing to embrace it.
Change cannot happen without your help. Far too many of us talk about change. We don’t like the way things are and we with things could change. Well, things can change, and you can make it happen. Don’t just stand on the sidelines and spew words about change. Take the action required to make the change. Change requires action. Your action. Not your words, your action. When you stand up and take action, you create change with your action. Not just any change, but the change you want to see happen. Go ahead. Take action. Be the change. The change YOU want to see happen.
Change my friends is blowing in the wind. The wind is constantly blowing all around us and in that wind is change. Although is seems like a contradiction of terms, change is one of the few constants in our lives. As such we must learn to adapt to change. Just as the two characters Hem and Haw in the book “Who moved my cheese” by author Spencer Johnson. If we cannot adapt to change, we will not thrive and we will get left behind. Don’t let yourself get stuck in the dark ages, so to speak. Change is ever present and we must be willing to travel through the winds of change.
We must stop going through life waiting for others to create change that we ourselves want to see happen. If we want change, then we must create that change. Don’t sit around and complain about the way things are. Do something about it. Make a difference. Make the change happen. You are strong, and you can do it. So go ahead. Be the change. Do it today.
No one else has permission to effect change in YOUR life. No else has permission to affect YOUR life. You are the only one who can do that. Whether it be negatively or positively, it’s your choice and your right. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. If it is broken, take the necessary steps to make it right. The change you do or don’t effect in your life is all up to.
If you think about it, change is the only thing in life that doesn’t change. It’s always there. Hovering, and waiting for an opportunity to pounce. yet again. Our friends change. Where we live changes. Our jobs change. Technology changes. There will be many changes before we die. We need to embrace and accept these changes or we will get left behind standing in the dust as everyone else passes us by. It by no means we have to like all the change, but we must adapt none the less.
When you are running from something, it usually means a couple of things. You are leaving some things unresolved. And you are making changes in your life that may be unnecessary, and for the wrong reasons. If you are going to run, make sure it is for the right reasons, and make sure you are running towards something better for a higher purpose. If you leave things unresolved, they will follow you for the rest of your life. Don’t do that to yourself. Always run towards something better once everything else has been resolved. You’ll be better for it.
If you don’t like the way things are, you must change them. If you want to see a difference, you must make the difference. Things don’t change because people sit on the sidelines and watch. It’s so hypocritical to complain about the way things are but do nothing about it. It’s so hypocritical to complain about making a difference but not doing anything yourself. You must take action if you want to see change and make a difference. Don’t complain and then wait for other people to take action. Step up and do the right thing.
Never give up on yourself. The difficult becomes more and more easy as you do it more often. You become better and more proficient at it. If you need to lose weight, lose one pound at a time. Not all 50 pounds at once. If you want to walk 10,000 steps a day, move forward one step at a time. With each pound you lose or each step you take, you are that much closer to your goal. Before you know it, you’re there. No matter what you want to do, never give up on yourself. You’re worth it.
